This minisymposium was organized by the Laboratory of Extremophile Plants (LPE) at the Centre of Biotechnology of Borj Cedria (CBBC) and the Plant Stress Group at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), in association with the Tunisian Association of Genetic Resources (TAGR) and the Tunisian COTUGRAIN company in the framework of the Tunisian-South African bilateral project (2019-2022) « Characterization of alfalfa accessions towards efficient breeding for drought, salinity and Phoma medicaginis disease resistance ».
